JUNK Brands is an athletic apparel company located in Bentonville, Arkansas. All headbands are made in America, from first design concept to the final stitches.

Each headband is constructed using performance sweat wicking material and is sublimated with bold artwork that will stand out at any gym.

I had been interested in glitch art for a while, and jumped at the chance to incorporate it into a design. Glitch art can be made by opening an image as a text document, and fiddling with the code. By deleting sections of code and repeating others, you begin to alter the image in some really interesting ways. I took fragments of popular JUNK Brands designs, and collaged them together to make the “Takeover’ pattern!
